Franco De Vita // San Jose

Latin Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, Franco De Vita is set to perform at the City National Civic in San Jose on Friday, May 8 (Mother's Day weekend). Venezuelan artist Franco De Vita started his solo career in 1984 and his first solo album titled Franco De Vita contained three Spanish-language hits; “Somos Tres”, “No Hay Cielo”, and “Un Buen Perdedor”. In addition, his 1990 album “Extranjero” reached #1 on the U.S. Latin Charts and he won an MTV Video Music Award. De Vita has performed duets with some of the biggest names in Latin Music including Gloria Trevi, Chayanne, Thalía, Gloria Estefan, Marc Anthony, Ricardo Arjona, and Romeo Santos. In 2014, he was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music of Fame and recently was nominated to the latin songwriters hall of fame.
