This is the largest Latino Film ever produced in film history and is a candidate for an Oscar nomination.

The film is this year's submission from Venezuela for Best Foreign Language film. It is about Simon Bolivar, the Liberator of five countries in South America.

The movie is directed by Alberto Arvelo (To fight and to Play, Cyrano Fernandez), musical score was created by Gustavo Dudamel (conductor for the L.A. Symphony), and the lead actor is Edgar Ramirez (Zero Dark Thirty, Bourne Ultimatum, Wrath of the Titans, Carlos).
