Fidel Rueda's - No Te Vayas
Rising up the Billboard charts this week is a Fidel Rueda (#8 last week and #6 this week).
Born in his beloved Culiacan, Sinaloa, he grew up around an accordion. Early on, Fidel soon took to spending his spare time playing the instrument. As Fidel's skill improved, he started singing as well. Soon after that, he was invited to play for parties and events.
Later, Rueda formed a group called Los Buitres de Culiacan, which many people know and love. The band released its first album, entitled Que Role la Bolsita. The record was well received, but it was the follow-up, Solo Para Mi, that really made them into big stars.
The band later released Limonadas Verdes, & it solidified the group's popularity. In 2006 Rueda chose to split from the band he had helped to build.
With an experimental sound featuring only drums, a few horns, and accordion, Rueda released his solo debut in 2007. The disc, entitled Paz en Este Amor, became a Mexican Regional hit.
