The music video shot, in what looks to be in Mexico, is of Gerardo’s mother making him a meal on a traditional stove. Gerardo looks at his mother and says: “mother, I’m tired of living this way. I’m going to try my luck. I will look for a job. I will be a singer."

Gerardo then make his way, hitchhiking to find a job. On the way, he finds a job at a Hacienda where the lady of the house is not being properly “tended to” by her lover. Gerardo figures this out and makes sure that she is “well tended to”.
