Cuban-American billionaire launched campaign against Trump

Cuban-American billionaire Mike Fernandez, the biggest campaign donor to Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush, has launched a campaign against magnate Donald Trump, whom he says is a "narcissist" who must be stopped.

"The problem with Donald Trump is that so much about him is unstable - his positions, his rhetoric - and I am afraid this country and our world cannot bounce back if someone like him becomes president. The potential damage to our nation and our future could be catastrophic," Fernandez said in a press release.

Fernandez, who came to the United States with his family at age 12 and made his fortune in the health care sector, some days ago bought a full-page ad in the daily Miami Herald in which he criticized Trump's recent comments about Hispanics and others.

Trump currently is the frontrunning presidential hopeful in the surveys of Republican voters.

The ad circulated a few days after a new poll found that Trump holds a 20-point lead over his closest rivals for the GOP presidential nomination.

"Donald Trump is puffed out about himself, like a crowing rooster, but acts more like a crying capon because his rhetorical attacks lack courage, truth and hope," Fernandez said in his statement accompanying the release of a new video advertisement for his "Stop the Bullyionaire" campaign.

"His peak was built on sound-bite insults against whole populations - people who want nothing more, but nothing less, than a fair shake at living the American dream," the statement continued.
